5 Things To Keep In Mind When Having A Magic Show!
1. Try and keep the kids in a different area from where the magician will be setting up. Kids can get overly excited and detract from the magician properly setting up for the show.
2. Make sure to have an open space that the kids can sit comfortably in to enjoy the show. Uncomfortable seats or a hard floor can make them squirm and want to move around. Use blankets and/or large pillows for them to sit on.
3. It’s best to pay the magician before the show starts so that you won’t have to worry about it later. Sometimes things can get hectic and you just end up forgetting and having to rush around later on. This easily prevents that problem!
4. If planning the party and magic show outdoors, make sure to have a backup plan in case of bad weather. Having to move things in doors and under cover at the last minute can be frustrating, but if you have a backup plan you’ll be way ahead of the game!
5. Be on the lookout for really young kids who might like to get up and wander around while the magician performs. Kids 3 and under sometimes like to make themselves the star of the show and although quite funny at first, this can really distract and take away from the momentum of the magic show.
